Hi Guys,

A fellow that I know wants to pay someone to take aerial photos of a property with a quad.
The property is 1 1/2 hours east of Scar.
This guy is legit and you would establish price with him.

If you have decent equipment and are interested please contact me.

Kind regards,

Ken
Actually, I can.

If money changes hands for this then it would be a commercial activity.  Commercial drone operation requires a special license.  Failure to have this license could result in a large fine.

Sorry!

It requires a SFOC (special flight operation certificate) permit that anyone operating professionally in the business should know how to acquire. Trouble is most individuals just go out and do the job without such. As RC flyers we above all should try to adhere to these rules as we have the most to loose in this situation. We need to protect our freedom to practice our "hobby" under the umbrella of transport Canada to have this continue.
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Michael

I would urge all TEMAC members to refrain from such activity unless you are legally licensed to do so.

TEMAC is not affiliated with any such entity, does not engage is such activity, and does not act as an agent nor a conduit for any persons engaged in such activity.

The business of drone photography is very sensitive, and Transport Canada is actually going after people who do it without a permit, fortunately.

Hi every one,
I withdraw the idea.
I just did not realize what's involved.
Thanks for the input.
