The forecast (at this point) is good for Friday: 14 degrees and 15km south wind.

It's a legal holiday, and many people are not working.

Anybody interested in flying? Early afternoon?
Michael

octagon

yup, maybe maiden the Neuport.
What could possibly go wrong?

Sounds great!
Count the Hagens brothers in.

I'm afraid I'll have to pass - it's Les' birthday.

I'll be out on Good Friday. Haven't flown on a holiday in a long time.

(Simon - The morning crew is going out on good Thursday too!  Probably meet for lunch afterwards as well; but I won't rub it in.)  ;D

bfeist

Sounds like fun. I'll do my best to get out.

Yep!.  It's great Friday.
Graham and I are meeting earlier in the morning to tuck in the south end of the runway so people like me who run off the runway don't have to go over the ski jump.  Hope to have it done by the time the rest of you get there.
Graham and I will probably be at Tim's at 10 am. and then go to the field for 10:30.   Then go flying.

Can anyone be a trainer for a new guy? I would like to start a season early if someone helps me.

Frank v B

Vadim,

I will be there and available by about 11 am Friday.  I will bring a buddy box if you do not have one.

Thanks Frank.  I have dx6i and dx4. If that works.  But I don't have a cable to connect.

Would it be alright if a non-member who's considering joining drops by to check things out?

I'm a glider guy (with MAAC membership and glider wings) and looking to join a power club and get my power wings.

Michael

Of course you're welcome to come visit.

Rob, your post on possibly maidening the Nieuport made me dust off my biplane and get it ready.  My Skywriter is ready to go.

Calling all members with fuselages and two wings flying in formation (biplanes).  Bring out your plane(s) and join us.

Two new potential Junior members are set up to drop by the field tomorrow for their first flights.  I am getting the Club Trainer ready so they can have some stick time before they invest in a model.

Vadim will also join us for his first flight at Temac.  I will bring a cable for you and a spare radio if the DX4 is not buddy-box-able.  (I don't know).

Ryerson is coming out as well to rehearse picking Easter Eggs from the field with a quad.

It's gonna be a busy day.  It's Spring.  YES!! ;D
