Frank v B

Liberated a damaged B-25 from the Cadez Hangar.  Three problems
- broken prop- counter rotating 3 bladed
- the port motor made noise but did not spin the shaft.
- two broken hinges on the port (left) aileron.

The Repair:
Photo 1- Dropped by GreatHobbies on my way to a family dinner in Guelph today and bought a new set of props for the plane.  Prop problem solved.
Photo 2- cut open the nacelle of the damaged motor with a brand new #11 blade and removed the motor from the foam mount.  The impact had shoved the motor back about 1/4" inside its gear mount so the gears did not mesh.  Pushed the motor back and is now giving it the gears again.  A bit like meeting Andy at the field. ;D
Photo 3 repaired the two broken hinges with some Scotch tape (top and bottom) but the old transparent type.  Medical bandage tape or Scotch invisible tape does not stick to foam that well.
Photo 4 -  Ready for Re-Mayden Fest.
