@bweaver et Al,

Here you go - your very own playground!  :)

Now I dare you to put as many posts on here as there are currently emails going around!?  ;D

And I will always be reminded of how much I miss out because I have to work during the day!  ;)

Cheer,
Simon

Oh you'll be reminded.  Thanks Simon.

I am sure the morning crew is looking forward to participating and keeping everyone informed as to what goes on at the flying field when you are at .....

It sucks to be you.  ;)

@bweaver and I were treated to amazing conditions at Rogo field this afternoon, following a very last-minute decision to fly today, given the less than stellar forecast for later this week.  Winds were very light, ceiling was broken high cloud, and temperature was 3oC, warm enough to bring out the first bugs of the season, who spent much time investigating Bruce's beard as possible nesting habitat!  Bruce actually has a very interesting and comprehensive repertoire of hand gestures for communicating with them!  As is befitting our CFI, his gesticulations were polite at all times!!  8)

Cheers!

@Andy Hoffer , it was only those bugs that went up my nose that got the finger.   >:(

The Morning Crew coffee club put on a great show yesterday morning at Horton's Hangar.  @BJROB has hit a grand slam home run with his scale tricking out the cabin and cockpit of his Cessna Grand Caravan float plane.  The staff at Horton's were literally brought to tears by absolutely striking Mini-Me versions of @bweaver and his gal Kate in the aft starboard cabin seats. The resemblance, from all angles, is incredible, and the attention to detail is remarkable - facial expression, coiffure, and eye colour are all right on.

Dr. John (@Condor13) was so taken with BJ's magnificent artistry that he sculpted a scale cheddar cheese lasagna from his sandwich topping to contribute to BJ's in-flight meal service.

You just never know where the next great TEMAC inspiration will come from.  Way to go BJ and Dr. John!!

In awe,

Andy
