Well, I crashed it pretty hard on my HK Vampire today.  It happens when I make my turn to the west on the north end of the field, the gusty cross wind caused the plane stall and plunge to the ground.  Even the Graphene battery is bent.

I heard Hobbyking is doing a weekly crash cash contest.  I could win $50 store credit if they pick me.   ;)

So I uploaded my crash photo to them.  :P

(Winner will announce next Friday)

Sorry to see and hear about the crash.    :(

Can we vote for you or something at Hobby King to help you win for your loss?   :-\

Or, is this a challenge for TEMAC members to see if we can outdo your crash?

Is that $50 US?  ;D

Oscar,

The cause of the crash has been determined.  The Scotch tape on the canopy blocked the view of the pilot.  He lost orientation. 8)

Repairable!  If you are not going to attempt it, let me have a go at it and I'll present it at one of the Pilots' Meetings.  It will be one of two topics:
- How to repair a crashed foamy.... or;
- How to fail miserably at a foamy repair.   ;)

I love a challenge and a laugh.  I have seen worse.*

Thank you Frank for the kind offer.  Unfortunately, I already disassembled all the electronic parts and now in the garbage bin.  :-[

Bruce - I am not too sure.  I think you can give a 'like' in the link I provided (see original post).  I do hope others not crash like me.   :P

Oh Oscar, we all crash in our own way.  Some more spectacular than others.  I find it is always best to do it without witnesses...  :)  ::)

For example; "Look, what is that over there?"

Crash!

"Whose plane was that?"

"No, not mine,  I am just doing a range check from over here at a flight station."
