Next steps will involve fine filling and shaping, painting, motor and battery compartment base installed permanently.

It was a beautiful afternoon and it was suggested I go out flying.  I charged three batteries and maidened the repaired plane.  It flew ok, but not perfect. 

I have come home and offset the motor with 2 washers top left and one lower left.  I think this will help.

I also started to fill and fine finish the repaired outer blue foam fuselage surfaces with dollar store white paint.  One coat of white applied. 

"Bye, bye blue foam."

A second coat will be applied tomorrow.  Silver Dollar Store paint and black pin-stripes will also be applied to match original colour scheme.

The filling and sanding on the front nose is perfect.
