Does my 70s era Sailaire count?

I wonder if Eric Adams still has Michael's ancient 7.5 foot Super Buccaneer...

Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

Who's that kid holding that red plane?

Maybe we can make the event: bring the oldest plane you own.

That might be a lot of fun actually.

LOL!  With the way some people use up planes.  They will be bringing the new one they bought last week from the hobby shop.

It would depend on how the organizers setup up the event.

I have looked into the Cocklebarrow event and to fly there, basically it must be a RC plane.  (ie no free flight or control line)  The models must have been kitted or plans released before December 1965. Power systems - fuel, electric and gliders allowed.
A Parkzone foamy Se5a wouldn't be allowed.  While it is a WW1 design the model itself wasn't released until after the 1965 date. This is a SAM event and they only want the early designs.
