I just found out that I can buy all I need at
Batteries Expert
1755 Plummer Road, Pickering, Unit 20.

First road south of Brock.

I just bought 45 amp inserts for $0.20 each and Powerwerx is $ 0.28US plus shipping.

For all you DIY's both Professional and Semi they have a full line of replacement tool batteries that seemed very reasonable.

Excellent!  These have become hard to find at hobby retailers.

This is great - can you explain what they are?!

Papa

They are great guys and were willing to sell me one insert if I insisted.
They buy a lot of stuff from HobbyKing for their Bike Business. About $20,000 so far.

They also recommended that I put "Replacement Parts" on the order. They are not taxed but "Toys" are.

The connectors? They are also known as Sermos connectors

IMHO the best connectors for our hobby although some old fashioned members insist on soldering them thus defeating the whole design concept which is crimping.

Believe it or not, some old fashioned members have found that soldering actually works quite well when done properly - AND allows reuse of the connectors when the battery or ESC reaches end of life.  Granted, at $0.20/connector one can afford to be a crimper instead of an old-fashioned scrimper!!

These also go by the name Duratrax Powerpole connectors, and can be ordered by Pinnacle Hobby.  They charge $2.00 per pair (connectors plus inserts).  http://www.duratrax.com/batteries/dtxc2300.html
