What a night.  No wind.  I waited til the sunset and took my Apprentice out for a nice relaxing flight.  Turn on the LEDS and doing my low pass (yes, Mike, I remembered, not low fly.  :P), dead stick, figure eight, touch n go etc etc...

C'est la vie.

Yes, it was an awesome night. Congrats on the wings Oscar!

Flew with Brian and his Apprentice. He took off and landed it for the first time as well. We had a lot of fun.

Can't wait for next week.

Yep
I crashed my apprentice on my first solo.
It sure knocked all the cockiness right out of me.
But with some chewing gum and baling wire I will be back next week.
Do not feel bad Greg the fault was all mine

Well, it was a good night and bad night for me.....

I'm pleased that I got my Slipstream back in the air, and it seemed to fly just fine. Now with added cooling!  ;)

Sadly, I tried to tame the Champ again and failed.  It ended up in a tree - wonder if that's a training night trend? Damage is not too bad and I may try the chewing gum and wire technique that Ed mentions, to fix it.  ;D

Also some great flights with Andy once he had the tail glued on and the SAFE switch in the correct position.

Oscar

The rain stopped after 6p and this begins the student night.  With Greg help, I maiden my Artizan.  This plane is perfect for aerobatics learning.  I put on the SAFE r/x (Thanks for Robert for the Apprentice R/X) to the Artizan and programmed the BIND switch as 'PANIC' button (Mike called it 'Oh CRAP' button).  Put on the intermediate mode while flying around and change to Advance mode for aerobatics.  The moment I lost the orientation, I pressed the bind button and it levels out. (even you are in Advanced mode)

I did my first 'LOOP' that night.   ;D

Can't wait for the next student night.

Side note: - After I landed, I throttle too much while taxiing.  It hit on Bill's Polaris EDF plane and damaged his plane.  I felt so bad.  It can be avoid if I just walked to the field and pick up the plane.  I am terrible sorry, Bill.  Lesson learned.
